Fifth Day of school

Half day today.

I need more practice with Codewars. It’s stressful; I’m not that great at it right now. We started our day with this and we have to pair up and it’s just difficult. I don’t think I’m much help to my peers right now in this context — unsure.

We observed the Q3 projects of the other cohort. Wow. They did a great job. They’re objective was to pick something they weren’t familiar with and teach themselves and create something in a week. Impressive. It’s amazing to see what we’ll be working on in the coming months and all of the skills we’ll be learning. It’s exciting and terrifying. It’s happening. I’m doing this.

We also worked on our exercises which is great. Again, I really love doing drills. I mostly focused on the functions assignments. I’m not great at finding bugs yet, but I do notice some improvement since spring. I think my code is clean; I could go cleaner still perhaps. I could probably stand to find shorter solutions, but hey, it’s enough to just find solutions.

Mental state: Unsure. I kinda just wanted to keep to myself. I just wanted to focus on my work. Not super social.
