Business Insider Says These Will be the Fashion Trends for 2019. Here is What I Think.

Disclaimer: By no means would I call myself a fashion expert. I just think I have an eye for fashion. You can disagree (or agree) all you want.

I’ll admit, I was on board when Uggs were in style about ten years ago. Now? Not so much. I do think that the ones in the above pictures are actually cute — but in the winter or fall. Not in the spring and summer like many girls (including myself) decided was the proper time the wear them. Hopefully, this trend sticks to the months it’s proper to wear them.

I don’t mind fleece jackets, but I’m not super into them. They’re comfortable, and you can look sort of shabby-chic with a pair of leggings and boots (Uggs, maybe?). They’re definitely a more casual style, which isn’t bad, but I personally sort of feel like a bum wearing them. Sorry, fleece fans.

I’m honestly not sure whether or not I like them. Again, this is an option that definitely looks comfortable, but I haven’t decided if I like the look of them. They are a weird combination of bougie and high fashion that, with the right look, I feel really works, but I feel like it’s such a specific look that I’m not sure if I can say I actually like it.

Finally! An option I am 100% behind! I am all for a pop of color, and a bright clutch is a way to do it. I know there are some colors I will likely stray from (I don’t exactly want to look like I’m carrying around an over-sized highlighter), but, as a whole, I really like this trend.

This is another one I am all for. I have enjoyed the influx of green on the market — it’s a great statement color, and these shades are flattering on most people. I don’t have much else to say about it. I just like it.
