Right-Wingers and Rednecks.

Could you leave it to the experts?
The right-wingers and red necks
Some have the brains of beetles
Or the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Full of derogatory dogma
Hatred and xenophobia
As cold as marble stone
Full of fear and homophobia.

Are they little Johnny’s progeny?
Or the fruit from Bishop’s loins
Perfecting the famous death stare
Or budgie smuggled little groins.

They all mutter aspersions
And embellish it with a bad taste
Name-calling’s now a national sport
Mouths are dripping toxic waste.

Leave it to the LNP
They’ll get us back on track
They’ll turn the boats around
And send the disenfranchised back.

Let’s fight for human rights
Australia is NOT a signatory
They lock refugees up forever
And make it mandatory.

Then they’ll cut us to the bone
And lay the blame on Labor
Austerity and tight pockets
And put your neighbor to the saber.

Political populism is at an all-time low
Putin, Trump, Marine Le Pen, and the rest
We have Morrison and LNP in Government in Australia
Lying Nasty People sitting in the nest.

The nations are going from bad to worse
Sexism has reached a famous low
The slander and bad-mouthing
Are all the maligners know?

And as we go to vote, it’s worth note
We have climate change skeptics in charge
Go and vote the bastards out
These liars are at large.
