Blackout Tuesday and Emotional Intelligence

Do you believe “All Lives Matter”? 🤬 Let’s talk about emotional intelligence.

Have you ever been in a toxic relationship?

Maybe you’ve experienced this…

You spend many years being there for a certain friend, listening to all their problems, cheering them up, and supporting their dreams. ❤️

But one day, a personal tragedy hits… maybe you lost a loved one or found out you have a terrible illness… and then you pour out your emotions to that certain friend.

Instead of listening, they SHIFT THE FOCUS away from your terrible tragedy and FOCUS ON THEMSELVES by talking about their own tragedies or their own philosophical belief systems about the Universe. 💔

All you wanted was someone close to you to simply LISTEN.

Ultimately, they didn’t… and you question your relationship with them because you just realized they aren’t open to understanding you.

That is precisely the insensitive impact of what saying “All Lives Matter” is to a black person.

⛔️ If you are the type of person that “listens to REPLY”… your perspective on reality will NEVER CHANGE.

💡 If you become the type of person that “listens to UNDERSTAND”… guaranteed you will step out of the matrix and develop powers to EVOLVE.

This is Blackout Tuesday.

Stop talking about yourself and stop saying “All Lives Matter.”

Just listen and absorb another human reality outside of your own social conditioning.

Eventually, I hope you come to understand why “Black Lives Matter.” ✊🏿
